Does olive oil really work cuz I can’t get a vet appointment till December
Hi Dr. Jones,
I donāt have castor oil on hand, but I do have coconut and olive oil. Would either be safe to use in my catās ears until her appointment tomorrow?
Sheās been shaking her head and losing fur around her ears, which look red and irritated. She was seen three weeks ago for an ear infection and was prescribed ear drops, which Iāve been using for the past four days. Unfortunately, they donāt seem to be helping. Iāve also been gently cleaning her ears with cat-safe ear wipes.
Iām worried sheās uncomfortable and just want to make sure Iām doing whatās best for her until sheās seen.
Can we use this for cats too?
Hi, my cat has been scratching at her ears for a week and there is a little wax debris in her ears (not black, just brown) – not sure if it’s ear mites but I put 3 drops of organic castor oil in each ear 3 times so far, and her ears have suddenly gotten very hot, red and inflammed! Does this mean I should stop, is it a bad reaction or normal at first?
Both ears?
